“保護先行，構建美好植物世界：一帶一路國家植物多樣性和保護”Plant Diversity專刊正式發(fā)表

　　植物在全球貿易和文明交流中有著非常重要的作用。古老的絲綢之路促進了中國與世界各地間植物及其產品的交換，我國的茶葉由此走向世界成為全球三大飲品之一，而來自南亞和中亞的胡椒、亞麻、葡萄和石榴等在我國已是家喻戶曉。2015年我國正式對外發(fā)布“一帶一路”倡議（BRI），目前已經(jīng)舉辦過兩屆“一帶一路”國際合作高峰論壇。無論是最早的倡議還是論壇公報，加強生物多樣性保護成為“一帶一路”國際合作的重要內容之一。盡管如此，目前我們依然缺乏“一帶一路”國家生物多樣性及其保護相關的信息和知識。為了促進區(qū)域間的合作和知識共享，在中國科學院國際合作局的資助下，中國科學院昆明植物研究所及中國科學院東南亞生物多樣性研究中心于2018年9月9日至9月22日期間承辦了“一帶一路植物多樣性與保護國際培訓班”，并在此基礎上組織和籌備2019年Plant Diversity?？Ｔ搶？ㄆ咂獙W術論文，關注三個主要的問題，即植物多樣性調查，植物進化和保護，以及植物多樣性的可持續(xù)利用；重點報道了植物多樣性豐富但仍處于研究相對薄弱的區(qū)域，包括緬甸東北部和約旦的沙漠區(qū)，以及東非，喜馬拉雅和中亞，旨在開啟和促進“一帶一路”國家植物多樣性的調查、研究和保護。
